Contact with the artist
In order to be able to use the song I intend to for my music video, it was necessary that I contact the artist and gain permission. I researched Ed Sheeran's managament team and found an email address that deals with enquires, therefore I emailed this address to explain the purpose of using the song, and asked if it was possible for them to grant me permission.
